What Makes "Univers" Unique?

Sadly blogger won't let me type in a Univers font while talking all about why it's so unique. 

So you know those huge families that some people just have..? Where they are one of like 7 other siblings, whom all have children of their own, and their children may have children. But you get the point. I'd call those massive families "Super Families", which is couincidentally what those in the design world call fonts that include serif, san serif, and every style in between. 

Univers is one of these fonts. There's an extreme amount of styles of Univers now an option on all of our computers. Everything from "Thin Ultra Condensed" to "Extra Black Extended Oblique".
